By definition, USB flash drives obviously have to fit the USB slot (
know, duh)

The USB standards have changed. USB 1.1 has a data rate of 1.5 Mbit/
(Low-Speed) and 12 Mbit/s Full-Speed). USB 2.0 has a higher maximu
speed of (480 Mbit/s (now called Hi-Speed). I don’t think USB 3.0 ever
materialized (but I’m sure something will come up)

Almost all USB flash drives will be 2.
