I want so share my experience with vista here.
I update my pc to vista and after that I lose my sound and find a red
x over my sound icon. Then I get the error message "no audio output
device is installed"
Fortunately, I found the solution at ‘Answers to the dreaded No audio
output device installed |’ (http://www.noaudiooutput.com)
They have many suggestion for sound problem.
